TeimOrbit
With the help of TeimOrbit, it is possible to create comfortable user interfaces and database applications extremely quickly using its own macro language. TeimOrbit allows the user simple and secure access to company-wide data, provides detailed input masks for data processing and coordinates data exchange within the company and its suppliers via a standardised ASCII file, the neutral data file (NDF).
Functionality of TeimOrbit
As already mentioned, the origins of TeimOrbit were closely linked to relational databases. In the meantime, however, TeimOrbit has become a development environment with which quite general graphical interfaces for data processing can be created even without a database. Optionally, the data can be managed in a relational database. TeimOrbit " thinks" in relational data structures.
TeimView
TeimView is the new postprocessor of ISW GmbH, with which...calculation results can be visualized in the form of diagrams, text outputs...can be visualized. TeimView strictly separates data and presentation. The layout of the graphic pages is stored in a separate file, independent of the data. Thus, several data files can be displayed with the same layout file. TeimView offers two views of the data - the graphic mode, in which the data are displayed as characteristic curves, and the data view, in which the data can be evaluated in tabular form.

The graphics mode can be switched to the editing mode, in which the pages are edited graphically interactively. Any number of diagrams are possible per page. Any number of curves can be displayed in each diagram. Of course it is possible to zoom in the diagrams. Images, frames, text and comment fields can be freely positioned in any freely positioned in any number. TeimView offers true WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get). Both when printing and on the screen, the page can be zoomed (not to be confused with zooming in a diagram).

TeimModel
TeimModel is used to generate topologies graphically interactively, i.e. calculation models can be created dynamically. Objects defined in TeimOrbit can be placed on the structure window via drag & drop and connected to each other via their connectors. In the toolbar on the left side of the screen, the main modules that have already been defined in TeimOrbit are displayed as "buttons". Each main module has a direct connection to the corresponding data model, knows its data structure, its attributes and knows how the input mask must present itself to the user, because TeimOrbit takes care of that.
Creation of a data model with TeimModel
The modules can be placed on the structure window via drag-and-drop.The block modeler creates a new object for each main module, which corresponds exactly to its model from the toolbar. After a new module has been placed on the structure window, it "exists" for the block modeler, but is still "hanging" freely in space. The points on the modules indicate possible connections to other objects. By "drawing a line" with the mouse, two modules can be connected to create a topology.
The input masks for processing the model data can be called up directly from the block modeler.
TeimView can be started as a stand-alone application for visualization of calculation results or integrated as a post-processor e.g. in VENTIL or V-ENGINE.
